Bob Allen, born at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital in London, weighing just over 2lbs, conssiting of a cavity in his lung and was not expected to survive. Over 40 years later ,hes at work with the chisel and malet, creation right at his fingertips- quite literaly. Bob Allen's sculpting career began in 2000 and progressed from the creation of beautiful hand carved wooden pieces and limited edition Bronze and Copper Resin castings. However his work today, including larger bronzes and experimental works in a range of metals, such as stainless steel. Interest in Bobs work has gained momentum, resulting in several significant public installations in London and bespoke works for private residences across the UK. Bobs work attracts interest from collectors across Europe and recent the United States and Asia.
